Maintain salon sanitation and health standards, including cleaning and disinfecting workstations
Trim and groom clients’ facial hair with combs, razors, scissors and clippers
Process client payments
Order barber supplies
Qualifications and skills
Key skills and qualifications often include proficiency in using barbering tools, knowledge of hair care products, a positive attitude, and flexibility are also valuable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are important. Barbers typically need to stand for extended periods and may require a valid barbering license. Experience with diverse hair types is preferred.
