We are seeking an entry level and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some background in automotive repair and diagnostics. This role requires expertise in working with power tools and performing various mechanical tasks including powertrain repairs. Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics to identify issues in vehicles.
Perform repairs on powertrain systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Utilize power tools effectively for various repair tasks, including aligning and welding components as necessary.
Execute routine maintenance checks and repairs, including oil changes, brake replacements, and tire rotations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Document all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles for record-keeping purposes.
Experience:
Experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role in a dealership, repair shop setting or Technical School.
knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in automotive repair.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
