This Bread Route distributor is currently seeking a back up driver potentially full time. An individual who can fill in for our current drivers as needed. Role involves ordering, distributing, and managing baked goods accounts for various commercial clients.
Schedule:
* 5 days a week, hours from approximately 3:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., can be adjusted once you learn the route. Off Wednesday & Sunday.
Compensation:
* $1,000 weekly (on the books W2), company truck (maintenance of the truck is required), plus gas reimbursement with receipt required, no exemptions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ordering & Inventory Management is crucial part for the position (must have a laptop or computer in order to place the merchandise orders)
* Load, Sort, & Organize Orders for various commercial stores
* Ensure all deliverables are accurate & accounted for as you originally ordered, & not allow any alternations unless "YOU" need to
* Weekly store inventory check of stale items & inventory verification
* Deliver to commercial clients accordingly
* Maintain timely & Professional Service throughout the delivery route
* Handle all products with care & ensure proper documentation & cash accordingly
* Answer calls/texts from management/owner accordingly
Qualifications:
* Valid "CLEAN" driver's license (Clean driving record required; be prepared with a driver's abstract)
* Computer literate (handheld device must be used daily & inventory orders done accordingly)
* Previous delivery or driving experience is an asset
* Strong time management & organizational skills
* Ability to work independently & manage the route
* Physically capable of lifting & carrying delivery items
