Safely drive tractor-trailers (lowboy, highflat, landoll & step deck trailers) or other large trucks, adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Inspections & Maintenance: Perform mandatory pre-trip (DVIR) and post-trip inspections, reporting defects and ensuring basic maintenance (fluids, tires).
Documentation: Keep accurate driver logs (ELD), trip reports, fuel receipts, and delivery confirmations (PODs).
Route Management: Plan efficient routes, use GPS, and communicate with dispatch about status, delays, or issues.
Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, confirm deliveries, and handle paperwork.
Essential Requirements:
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) (Class A needed).
Clean driving record.
Knowledge of DOT regulations (HOS, weight limits).
Physical ability to handle loading/unloading tasks.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Excellent Pay depending on experience; Some nights and weekends required.
