A growing logistics operation based in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a skilled and dependable Class-A CDL Driver - To supervise and operate our internal fleet.

The current fleet includes:
• 6 Freightliner Cascadia day cab semi-trucks (with more trucks to be added soon)
• 1 Yard Switcher (Yard Mule)
• 67 Chassis

📌 Position Details

Job Type: Full-Time (1099 position)

Routes: Regional

Schedule: Primarily Monday through Friday, home daily

Compensation: Competitive weekly pay

Equipment: Automatic trucks only

Workload: Multiple runs daily to port, + Supervising Daily Fleet Routine.

Technology: Smartphone required for operations

✅ Qualifications

Active & valid Class A CDL

TWIC card (required – assistance available if not yet obtained)

Active & valid Medical Card

Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent CDL driving, with port experience required

Record:

Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Report)

No accidents, DUI/DWI, or failed/refused drug tests within the past 5 years

Must be able to pass drug/alcohol screening

Effective English communication skills

🚛 Responsibilities

Regional Drivers:

Make multiple runs daily between yards, ports, and import delivery points

Provide accurate ETA updates via phone or text

Operate efficiently within port and delivery operations

ℹ️ Additional Information

Our facility is located within 15-25 minutes from the Port, making multiple daily runs possible

One-week hold required upon hire

Assistance available for TWIC card application if not already obtained
