Z Transportation is looking for a motivated and organized Dispatch / Load Coordinator to join our growing operations team.
As a family-owned trucking company with nearly 20 years in business, we are looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, communicating with drivers, and helping keep freight moving efficiently.
Previous dispatch or logistics experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan and dispatch loads efficiently
• Coordinate drivers and customer appointments
• Monitor shipments and provide updates
• Communicate with drivers throughout their trips
• Resolve delays and scheduling issues
• Maintain accurate load information
• Work with Safety, Maintenance and Accounting departments
• Help maximize fleet utilization
QUALIFICATIONS
• Dispatch, logistics or transportation experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Computer proficiency
• TMS experience is a plus
• Knowledge of FMCSA & Hours of Service is preferred
• Must be able to work in our Dover, NJ office
