I purchased commuter tickets back in March before my office closed indefinitely due to covid-19. I am now working from home permanently, and I do not need to purchase tickets. Shortline won't refund my money- they will only extend the life of the voucher, which doesn't benefit me.

They said that I could transfer the voucher to someone for cash. If you use the Shortline Coach buses, I would be happy to trade you the voucher ($159.52) for half it's cash value ($80 cash or Venmo). I am happy to meet you at the terminal in Ridgewood and be present while you purchase tickets to ensure a smooth transaction too.
I also have $500 on a Commuter Check card (VISA card that can be used to purchase bus or train tickets anywhere, including MTA cards). I would be thrilled to trade that for cash as well, since I can not be refunded.
