Please look at the photos and contact me if you are interested in more itemized info and other details. This is a full train set that I received as a gift back in 1987 when I was living in Japan. I bought a few more buildings and engines in the years following. Most of this is Tomix brand. There is a full track setup with two large bridge spans, etc. The speed controller. 3 electronic track switches. There is a main passenger train, with an engine and multiple cars. There are 2 different freight engines and various freight cars. There is also a Steam engine (Kato). Also, there are several buildings, etc. This set and all of the objects are in excellent condition. This train set is operational, all the engines work, switches etc - although some tracks could probably use a cleaning for best contact, etc. I'm in process of boxing things up - you can def inspect items, but I'm not going to have the whole thing up and running. I do have recent videos of the trains running (from when I pulled out of storage 2 years ago). I didn't run it too much beyond testing, because I'm not sure if you are supposed to use a step up or step down transformer (since this unit was sold originally in Japan, not an import). In the photos it's set up on a thin plywood sheet on top of a framed base that I made - which is lightweight and has a space underneath to run wires, etc. You are welcome to take that as well. I took a few shots of similar individual pieces currently for sale on eBay so you can get a sense of the overall value presented here. This is an incredible, intact Japanese domestic train collection. A great deal for somebody who wants them, or somebody who wants to flip and part out the collection.
