This 1987 Tandy 1000SX is working with all of it's original hardware - but with some modern add-ons for modern-day ease of use.
This computer comes with a Monotech XT-IDE card, which is an 8-bit ISA expansion card for vintage PCs. The XT-IDE card allows the computer's hard drive to run from a modern day Compact Flash / CF card (card included). The CF card has already been formatted with DOS 6.22 operating system and the computer boots straight from the CF card into DOS. While the original 3.5" and 5.25" floppy disk drives do work, the XT-IDE allows you transfer files from your modern computer to the CF card. The XT-IDE has also comes with the FULL MEM daughter card, which maxes out the RAM / memory.
