Apple IIe computer + disk II drive + modern hard drive / power upgrade ($500)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

GOOD WORKING CONDITION - Cosmetically, the computer case top has a spot of stain/discoloring (as pictured) but not noticeable once the monitor is on top. The monitor pictured is no longer available but I can include one that is similar -- but this computer can use any TV that utilizes a standard composite (RCA) video connection.

This is truly an "enhanced" Apple //e with upgraded CPU and ROM chips that allows older Apple //e systems to run newer 65C02 software, and display MouseText. This allows users to take advantage of newer software developed for the Apple //c on the //e.

While the Disk II 5.25" floppy disk drive is also in good working condition, interacting with this computer is much easier with the MicroDrive/Turbo IDE Controller Card (from ReActiveMicro) - which allows you to use a Compact Flash Card as the computer's hard disk. The computer come with a External Compact Flash Drive (in matching Apple IIe beige) and a compact Flash Card that acts as the computer's hard disk. Apple II hard drives are formatted different from modern hard drives, so you will need a program (like Cider Press) to add files from your modern computer.

The Compact Flash card included loads directly to Bitsy Bye - ProDOS 8 - which is a menu-style program launcher (as pictured) with many other features. The card comes with a bunch of classic games and programs to get you started.

The power supply has been replaced with completely modern components (also from ReActiveMicro), so you do not have to worry about a 30+ year old power supply failing.
