We are looking for a licensed Cosmetologist to join our growing salon! Our ideal candidate is experienced in a variety of services, such as hair cutting and styling, nail enhancement, eyebrow shaping, or skin care services. You must have completed a cosmetology training program from an accredited school and hold a current cosmetology license. Excellent customer service skills are required to ensure our customers have a pleasant experience, are happy with their completed services, and become regular customers.
Cosmetologist Duties and Responsibilities
Greet clients as they enter the salon and offer refreshments
Listen to each client’s needs and provide information about available salon services
Cut and style hair according to client specifications
Provide nail services (optional)
Recommend various products to clients
Provide other cosmetic treatments and procedures as needed
Cosmetologist Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED certificate
Completion of a cosmetology training program
Cosmetology license
Beauty salon or day spa experience
Strong communication, listening, and customer service skills
Attention to detail
