Business Development / Sales Representative (Teaneck, NJ – Small Business Portfolio)
We are a group of small but growing businesses in Teaneck seeking a Business Development / Sales Person who is hungry to succeed and loves meeting people. If you’re a natural talker, self-starter, and thrive on creating opportunities, this role is for you.
Responsibilities
Prospect, network, and identify new business opportunities.
Set appointments with homeowners, businesses, and community partners.
Conduct in-home or in-store meetings to present services.
Build trust with clients and close appointments when possible.
Create and execute sales programs, promotions, and outreach campaigns.
Track leads, follow up consistently, and drive measurable results.
Qualifications
Outgoing personality — loves to talk, meet new people, and build connections.
Proven experience in sales, business development, or customer engagement.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
Experience closing sales preferred.
Knowledge of home improvement, retail, or local small business sales a plus.
Must have driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Schedule & Compensation
Flexible part-time or full-time opportunity.
Base: $20 – $25/hr plus commission/bonuses for closed sales.
Based in Teaneck, NJ with local travel to clients and community partners.
