Fully built-out off-grid vanlife setup in a classic 1998 Dodge B150 short-body. Van-life build out in 2024. It doesn’t drive well right now (front chassis damage from rust), but the interior is a complete livable micro-home: solar, batteries, water, ventilation, bed, storage — ready to be used as a stationary cabin, studio, or towable mini home/tiny home, or repair damage to bring it back to great running order. The damage could be fixed by custom welding I’m told. I’m the second owner, the first owner was a mechanic, was his baby. Transmission and engine are sound at 121k miles. New spark plugs, new power steering, good tires, and always serviced.
Custom locking surfboard rack with locked wetsuit drying rack incorporated into the solar panel rack. Also custom hooks on rear to hold a folding bike.
Also, shown in photos, brackets for hammock chair (shown) and included.
The entire interior was insulated including the floor with a combination of blue foam, R max, and rock wool. Also, created custom reflective insulated blinds for all windows, plus extra large insulated panels to cover entire doors and windows in extreme cold. I did insulate all stringers and door panels (spray foam and rock wool).
Bed slides out and cushions combine to make an extra wide bed. Back of the bed built with aromatic cedar. Storage behind bed with racks. Storage under the bed too. Closet has hanging clothes rack the entire length and shelves underneath.
Ventilation includes two covered DC fans in the roof (shown) with water proof covers. These are wired into the two Lithium batteries (one shown). These fans pull air through the main hatch (shown) and work very well in the summer.
Delivery available within 50 miles (or longer) for a small fee — I can tow it myself. However will need payment in person before towing. Will consider offers or trade for 4x4 truck.
