I am a piano teacher who is currently working in Brooklyn college and will serve as adjunct in NYU this upcoming academic year. I am also performing for the international Electroacoustic music festival as their featured pianist. I also have a certificate of organ performance. I am offering piano lesson, chamber music instruction, and also working as vocal coach. I usually also teach music history and theory( that’s mandatory for reading music). I have successfully prepared my students to conservatories, colleges and talent middle or high school.
I also understand if your child is not into strict teaching or only have limited time practicing. I agree happy teaching if that helps my student love music. I have a lot of students who were not in a good relationship with piano or even school in general but I have helped them fall in love with music and have more focus even in school in general. Sometimes slow is fast and building foundation is very important for long term plan.
I offer online or in person teaching. All ages are welcomed.
