We are hiring a hands-on, highly reliable Superintendent to oversee daily maintenance and building operations.

You will be responsible for maintaining the property, resolving issues efficiently, and ensuring a safe, clean, and well-operated environment for tenants.

Core Responsibilities
• Conduct routine inspections of units, common areas, and exterior conditions
• Perform general maintenance and repairs (plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, patchwork)
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies with urgency
• Manage apartment turnovers: repairs, cleaning, and unit readiness
• Monitor building systems and escalate major issues as needed
• Coordinate and oversee vendors, contractors, and service providers onsite
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of all common and exterior areas
• Handle garbage management, snow removal, and seasonal maintenance
• Track maintenance logs, work orders, and supply inventory
• Communicate clearly with tenants regarding maintenance and updates
• Identify and report issues proactively before escalation
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies

Requirements
• 2+ years of superintendent, building maintenance, or handyman experience
• Strong working knowledge of general repairs and building systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry basics
• High reliability and strong work ethic
• Ability to prioritize and respond quickly to issues
• Professional communication and tenant interaction skills
• Physically capable of handling maintenance tasks (lifting, carrying, etc.)
