700 is known good, cheap to move fast, 250. started life in a passenger side drop square body, later installed in a drivers side drop 1992 blazer. TV cable still there in good shape with converter. rebuilt and upgraded hard parts, servo etc. worked great, that square body had a 400 sbc in it and this trans held.
4l80e from 1998 2500, had been swapped in but never worked because harness was in poor condition do to corrosion, 250 sold as core, dipstick tube broke off at base. with converter. when I stripped the truck for carrier and other parts engine was already sold.
I also have multiple transfer cases all manual and drivers side drop, one for 700r4 small spline, the others for stick or 4l80 use, 100 each, known good.
I have a getrag for these same trucks, inter changes with 95 and older NV3500, from 88 rusted frame truck, 50 bucks, 4x4.
Front diff from 2500 1998, cheap, 373 ratio.
