Darkroom Enlarging Lens, This is one of the best enlarging Lens Eastman Kodak made in their heyday, made for the commercial Grapic Arts Industry.
Although marked as an Ektanon, it was similar to the Ektar.
Multi-coated.
Has 39mm rear thread to screw into standard lensboard.
Extraordinary smooth round aperture, looks like a 16 blade, would cost hundreds of dollars
if made today.
From a modern online review: These things ooze quality, they are incredibly heavy for their size, solid chromed brass, both are multi-coated with L in circle symbol and nice clean glass.
OK, so it's not a Schneider Componon-S from Germany, it's the next best thing.
The glass and aperture are clean. No scratches, haze, fog, clouds etc.
This would normally be used for a 2x3 medium format negative, also be used for a 60 x 90 mm (2x3) negative as produced by Hasselblad, Bronica, Mamiya, Pentax, Rolleiflex, etc. . This can be used on a Beseler or Omega enlarger and many others.
