We are seeking a highly experienced Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks expertise to come in and audit, clean up, and organize our financial accounts. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented who can quickly identify discrepancies, streamline processes, and ensure accurate reporting across multiple accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a full audit of existing QuickBooks accounts
Identify and correct discrepancies, misclassifications, and errors
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and financial statements
Clean up historical data and ensure books are accurate and current
Organize chart of accounts for better reporting and clarity
Work closely with management to implement best practices
Provide ongoing bookkeeping support (if needed)
Qualifications:
Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks (required)
Proven experience in account clean-up and financial audits
Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP preferred)
Experience reconciling complex or multi-entity accounts is a plus
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred:
Experience with multiple entities or real estate/construction accounting
Familiarity with integrations (bank feeds, credit cards, etc.)
