We are an established electrical contracting firm seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial and infrastructure electrical projects throughout the New Jersey/New York market.
This role is ideal for a high-level Electrical PM with strong experience managing complex projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and driving projects from preconstruction through closeout. Experience working with PORT AUTHORITY projects or within secure/high-compliance environments is highly preferred.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
* Overseeing large-scale electrical construction projects from inception to completion
* Managing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, procurement, and field coordination
* Working directly with clients, engineers, contractors, inspectors, and PORT AUTHORITY representatives
* Leading project teams and supporting field operations to ensure successful execution
* Identifying and resolving project risks, delays, and cost impacts proactively
* Ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within scope, and within budget
* Providing regular project reporting and updates to executive leadership
Qualifications:
* 4+ years of electrical project management experience preferred
* Strong commercial, infrastructure, or public-sector electrical construction background
* PORT AUTHORITY experience is a major plus
* Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
* Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
* PMP Certification is a plus
* Must be able to pass a background check for PORT AUTHORITY ID access
