ATTORNEY NEEDS GREAT, RELIABLE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (HACKENSACK)

Robert Davies, Esq.

compensation: $20/hr and up depending on skill level. Potential for advancement and bonuses
employment type: full-time
job title: Legal Administrative Assistant
I am a busy attorney with a fast growing practice.

I need a reliable administrative assistant to help me run my practice. You should be a take-charge-self-starter type of person who can help me not only with the clerical side of my business, but also with helping me to develop and streamline our procedures so that we can grow the practice. The right person will see the potential for growth for the practice and for themselves. I am the best at what I do, but I need great support.

Most important skills:

* A reassuring and warm manner on the phone - my practice is family law, and compassion and understanding are important client-facing skills.
* Typing - at least forty WPM
* Good understanding of word processing software in general, and a strong willingness to learn new software, and computer skills as needed.
* Organizational and detail oriented - law practices require a good eye for small errors and mistakes, as well as organizing and filing a LOT of papers correctly and consistently.
* Reliable - I need someone who will actually show up and demonstrate that they can care about growing my practice and be enthusiastic about helping me grow it. The right person will see that I am someone who will share when we have success.
* Solid and reliable transportation
* Spanish speaking, in addition to fluent colloquial English is a plus.

Once we have built a relationship and trust, I would consider partial-remote work arrangement, provided there was time tracking software used.

I have been told by past employees that I am a great boss, and that I empower the people that work for me. I care about the people who support my practice, and even if your skills are not a perfect match, I am willing to train, if you are willing to learn and work hard.

Thanks for reading this.
