New Jersey excavating contractor specializing in municipal and public works, is looking for an experienced Construction Estimator.
Responsibilities:
-Prepare accurate bids for municipal excavation, utility, and site work projects
-Complete quantity takeoffs from plans and specs
-Solicit and evaluate sub/supplier quotes
-Assemble bid packages meeting public bidding requirements (prevailing wage, bonding, etc.)
-Track bid schedules across multiple municipalities
-Coordinate with engineers and municipal officials
Qualifications:
-3+ years estimating in heavy civil, excavation, or municipal construction
-Familiarity with NJ public bidding process
-Proficient with estimating software (construct connect)
-Ability to read civil plans/specs
-Valid driver’s license
-Preferred: NJDOT/county bidding experience
Compensation:
-Based on experienced
