I run a small portfolio of businesses and need a self-directed, part-time assistant to take daily tasks off my plate and actually run with them. Fully remote, work from your own home office, minimal oversight. This is a W2 part-time position (not a 1099 contractor gig). If you need someone checking on you to stay on track, this isn't the right fit.
Heads up before you read further: a core part of this role is cold calling. You'll spend real time on the phone calling businesses and locations, introducing what we do, qualifying interest, and booking meetings. If picking up the phone and talking to strangers drains you or scares you, please skip this one. If it energizes you, keep reading.
What you'll do:
Cold calls and outbound outreach (the heart of the role): call businesses directly, qualify interest, handle the first "no," and book meetings
Research: dig into companies, markets, or topics and summarize the key points
Email and scheduling: inbound/outbound follow-ups and calendar coordination on my behalf
Daily admin: reminders, light document prep, and whatever else comes up
Own the details: when something's unclear, make a sensible call and flag it later instead of waiting
You're a fit if you:
Have done EA, VA, or client-facing/coordination work before
Are genuinely comfortable cold calling and stay warm and confident through a "no"
Communicate clearly and professionally, in writing and on the phone
Are organized enough that nothing slips through the cracks
Solve problems before escalating (I want a partner, not just a task-doer)
Have a quiet home office, reliable internet, and a clear phone connection
Speak fluent, easy-to-understand English
Nice to have:
Google Workspace
Phone sales, lead-gen, or appointment-setting experience
Vending or micro market experience
Light copywriting/drafting
Logistics:
W2 part-time employee position (not 1099)
Fully remote, flexible task-based hours
Workload varies week to week, you'll need to be available when tasks come up rather than on a fixed schedule
To apply:
Send a short note on why this fits you, your relevant experience, and your hourly rate. Include a 60-second voice note so I can hear how you sound on the phone (it's a big part of the job). Start your reply with the word "DIAL" so I know you read the whole post. Replies without it get deleted.
