An established commercial general contractor is looking for a bid coordinator for our bustling office. This position would require someone with experience in the bidding process for public work bids, bid coordination, and heavy follow-up calls, answering phones, bid runs, organizing estimates etc.
Must be well-organized, with strong time-management skills, proactive, POSITIVE, and willing to change hats.
Qualifications • MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2+ years of construction experience • Must be able to multitask
Job Description: • Prepare proposals and bid packages • understand plans and specs, obtain pricing, issue purchase orders as needed, cost code invoices • Support field staff as needed • Handling material orders etc.
