The Mission
Guitarist and bassist (40s/50s) seeking the final piece of a sonic wrecking ball. We are building something that sits at the intersection of a slow-motion collapse and a high-speed chase. If you can pivot from a Sleep style tectonic crawl to a Nuclear Assault thrash beat without dropping a stick, we want to talk. Goal is to write 4 to 5 songs together, get them solid and then record, release and play local gigs.
The Sound
It is nebulous but intentional. We span the spectrum of filth: the swampy groove of Acid Bath, the dissonant grind of Dystopia, and the primitive blackened stomp of Darkthrone. Think Sabbath worship filtered through Eyehategod with some S.O.D. thrown in the mix.
What We Need
The Meter: Solid timing is a must have. You need the patience for 40 BPM doom and the stamina for hardcore/crust intensity.
The Vibe: We are seasoned and over the drama. We prefer folks in their 40s or 50s who know the gear and the subculture, but if you know the music and can play the parts, age is not important.
The Logistics: rehearsals in Jersey City.
