Baptist Church In Newark, NJ seeking musicians for 2 Sundays a month. Experience required. This is a paid position.
Sunday service is from 10:00 a.m. to about 11:30, give or take 15 minutes.
Music style is predominantly contemporary gospel i.e.,
Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammon, Jonathan Nelson's Island Medley, and many others.
There's usually 1 hymn scheduled per Sunday

hammond b3 organ
lead guitar
bass guitar
drums

If you don't have a video where you can be seen directing a choir, an audition can be scheduled. It is critical that you be able to relay all parts on the spot. Minister of Music will provide you with all recorded choir parts prior to all rehearsals that you must be able to memorize, sing and correct parts by singing them during rehearsals
