Buckhummers bobbins are actual P-90 bobbins and so the coils are the same height as traditional P-90 coils.
Most other humbucker-size P-90s use something more like a Telecaster bridge pickup bobbin inside (but with screws through it and magnets under it), so the coils are actually about twice the height of a P-90 coil, internally.
60's P-90 style
The 60's is very similar to the 59 but the 60's is a little brighter with just slightly less mids. The 59 has a little more mids and less treble. You can think of the 59 as an overwound 60's style, if that makes sense. They are both A5 sets with the crisp treble, slightly scooped mids, and tight punchy bass that comes from those magnets.
Looking at $750.00 ( he doesn't make them anymore ) but willing to entertain any realistic offer.
