A rare unit to see for sale. The Multivox MX-312 Multi Echo is a sought-after vintage analog tape echo unit from the late 1970s, known for its warm, rich delays and spring reverb. It uses a continuous tape loop, multiple playback heads for rhythmic patterns, and offers inputs for mics and instruments. It's a coveted unit for guitarists, keyboardists and producers seeking authentic analog character with sounds virtually inimitable with digital delay and reverb pedals. See ad images for more information (ads are not included).
Selling as is. The unit is in clean condition and was only owned by one owner who kept it in a dry, temperature controlled space. It needs work. While the reverb works fine, the echo and delay effects are not operating as designed. I think the continuous cassette tape should be changed and some of the volume pots and switches need cleaning as well. Bottom line is that with some maintenance, this MX-312 will be back in working order.
