Ampeg SVT Head and 810 Speaker Cabinet. 300 watt RMS tube power. Vintage 1969-72, Blue Line Series. The original holy grail of bass amps! Unbelievable tone and balls. Records excellent, ready for gigs or your living room. The original black vinyl covering was removed revealing the natural tongue and groove hardwood, it's been sanded and stained to a smooth finish. The speaker grill cloth is a tweed wheat cloth.

Bonus *The 810 speaker cabinet has a custom front snap-on hard-shell lid to protect speakers for traveling. The 810 cabinet is on heavy casters and this model year was known for its rectangle design. 48'x26'x16' cabinet weighs 165lbs

Electronics: 300 watts, two channels, four inputs (two bright, two normal, 2/4 ohm output All original.
Controls: Volume, treble, bass on both channels, midrange on channel 1 80lb head

Unique to this model: Is the Blue line face trim. The 1969, SVT heads were shipped with 6146B power-tubes. In those early years these tubes were unstable. So owners would get tube modifications to protect the transformer. This amp has had that manufactures recommended modification done. (the tube installation and bias was done by the famous Denise Electronics in accordance to factory spec recommendations. This amp uses 6550 Grove Tubes. The Denise Electronics silver sticker trade mark is still on the back) Runs quite and smooth. Never had a problem, ever! All switches and knob controls are original. In the studio, we had no hum and ran the head away from the cabinet to minimize tube disturbance.

Please serious BUYERS ONLY! (cash is king) The RIG is available for sound check in Oakland, NJ area.
So include your phone number in the email and we'll talk. This amp is over 50 years old, and its sold as is...
Bring your CASH and bass to check out this incredible rig. Price is firm...

FYI: The current newer reissue heads are made in Vietnam, which does not sound the same. This is the real deal. A real collectors item to any bass enthusiast. These amps hold there value and are considered an historic piece of music equipment.
