Hey we are looking to add a team member to our production department / shop. We have a medium sized exhibit company producing trade show exhibits and retail installations.
The job would be primarily running our CNC machine, keeping the area organized and clean, troubleshooting, regular maintenance, and other related things. We would also ask you do to one of the following: light carpentry on the side OR producing the CNC files yourself. This would depend on your skillset and what you would want to do. I would train you on all aspects of the job, and eventually you would take over and be the full time CNC machinist.
We are mainly building cabinets, signs, shipping crates, box frame panels, etc. The machining is mostly plywood, MDF, some plexiglass, some aluminum.
The salary would be $50,000 - $70,000 depending on experience. After a probationary period, assuming everything is working out, you would be offered full benefits (we have a pretty good benefits program!). Bonuses are given out 1 - 2x per year.
