Multi-Plastics Extrusions, Inc. is a leader in the Plastic Extrusions field. We are seeking applicants for an Electrical Technician (Mechanic) for our Maintenance Department, at the Avenel Plant.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician (Mechanic) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to maintain, calibrate, and fabricate electrical systems and components. This role requires proficiency in using tools such as voltmeters and other diagnostic tools.
Duties:
• Preventative Maintenance tasks
• Urgent Work Assignments
• Maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Calibrate equipment and systems to meet operational standards.
• Fabricate components as needed for repairs or upgrades.
• Operate CNC machinery for precision fabrication of parts.
• Work with hydraulic systems, ensuring they function correctly within the electrical framework.
• Use voltmeters and other diagnostic tools to assess system functionality.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance overall operational efficiency.
Requirements:
• Available to work a flexible schedule including Days and Nights as a Shift Mechanic in a Scheduled Crew
• 1 to 4 Years of Experience and knowledge as a Mechanic in a Manufacturing Environment
• Hands-on experience in Electrical Maintenance.
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Basic Computer Literacy
• Bilingual is a Great Plus!
• Experience with fabrication techniques and tools.
• Familiarity with hydraulics and their integration into electrical systems.
• Ability to calibrate various types of equipment accurately.
• Experience operating CNC machinery is a plus.
• Proficient in using voltmeters for testing electrical circuits.
• A detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
