I am looking for a skilled carpenter or contractor to replace a half-wall on my second floor with a safer railing system. The project involves completely removing an existing half-wall and the attached bench, followed by patching and repairing the hardwood floor underneath where the structure was anchored. Once the floor is restored, I need a new secure railing installed along the drop-off to exactly match our existing stairs (wood handrail and newel posts with black metal balusters). I have attached photos of the current wall/bench and the specific stair railing style we want to replicate.
