We are an art and custom framing company looking for an experienced Ecommerce Operations Assistant to help manage the full order workflow from order entry to production, packing, and shipping.
This is a hands-on operations role for someone who is organized, reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable using computers. You will help make sure customer orders move smoothly from online sale to production, then to packing, shipping, and final completion.
Responsibilities
Review ecommerce orders from platforms including Shopify, Amazon, Walmart, Etsy, and Wayfair
Create and organize work orders for production
Use Google Sheets to track orders, statuses, notes, and shipping updates
Check finished orders for accuracy before packing
Stage completed orders for packing and shipping
Help pack art, framed products, and customer orders safely for shipment
Print shipping labels using Shippo, UPS, FedEx, and USPS portals
Mark orders as shipped and update tracking information
Communicate order issues clearly to the operations team
Help keep the packing and shipping area clean, organized, and efficient
Follow company procedures to reduce mistakes, damage, delays, and missed shipments
Requirements
Previous experience in ecommerce operations, warehouse operations, order fulfillment, packing, or shipping
Strong computer skills
Experience with Google Sheets
Familiarity with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Walmart, Etsy, Wayfair, Shippo, UPS, FedEx, or USPS shipping portals is strongly preferred
Must be able to read order details carefully and follow instructions
Must be organized and able to manage multiple orders at once
Must be reliable and show up on time
English required
Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced production and shipping environment
Attention to detail is very important
