We were driving southwest on I-78W at mile marker 4N when we were flagged down by two cars saying we had dropped an orange suitcase from the compartment on our RV.
We looped back to look for it, but found nothing. Someone must have picked it up, although calls to the NJDOT, NJTA, and NJ State Police revealed nothing.
This happened on Monday, 7/15 at 10:30am. If you happened to pass by and pick up a small orange suitcase from the road, please let me know and I'll be happy to give you a finders reward of $30. The suitcase contained some men's clothing and toiletries. Nothing terribly important or valuable, but I would love to have it back.
It's hard to imagine that there was more than one orange suitcase dropped on I-78W on Monday, but just in case, here are some more details:
- It's an orange suitcase that's carry-on sized. It has an expandable zipper and filled to excess with my clothes
- The suitcase is bright orange (almost obnoxious), and has four castering wheels and a telescoping handle
- Inside, there's a black/brown Nautica toiletries bag with a Merkur safety razor and an Oral-B electric toothbrush in a case.
- There's a particularly awesome shirt in there that shows a heartbeat signal, but in the middle, it's a loop with an aerobatic airplane flying around.
You are welcome to judge me for my fashion choices, but please help me get my stuff back. If you have *any* suggestions which agency to contact or who to talk to about this, also please let me know.
The likeliest event is that someone scooped it up before I got to it and that person is now sporting my boss airplane shirt.
