Gardens Apartment complex is looking for a full-time labor/maintenance person to handle grounds cleaning, light landscaping, light painting, apartment cleaning, and general assistance to the superintendent and handymen. DRIVER'S LICENSE IS REQUIRED. Benefits included
A Gardens Apartment General Labor worker is responsible for helping maintain the apartment community, buildings, and outdoor areas in clean, safe, and good working condition. This position supports maintenance staff and management with daily physical tasks.
Job Duties:
Clean common areas, hallways, stairways, laundry rooms, and outdoor grounds
Pick up trash and remove debris around the property
Assist with landscaping, mowing lawns, trimming bushes, and snow removal
Help move materials, furniture, appliances, and equipment
Perform basic repairs such as painting, patching walls, and minor maintenance tasks
Assist maintenance technicians with plumbing, electrical, or carpentry work as needed
Prepare vacant apartments for new tenants (cleaning, painting, minor repairs)
Monitor property for safety hazards and report issues to management
Maintain tools, supplies, and storage areas organized
Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor
Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and repairs preferred
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in different weather conditions
Good teamwork and communication skills
Work Environment: Apartment complexes, condominium communities, gardens properties, and residential buildings.
