Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery & Installation Driver to join our team. You will be responsible for safely transporting goods and helping install office furniture. If you are a dependable driver who doesn't mind a physical workload, knows their way around basic tools, and enjoys working in a team environment, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do
Drive Safely: Operate delivery vehicles (up to a 26 ft box truck) across NYC and surrounding areas.
Deliver & Install: Load, unload, and assemble office furniture like desks, chairs, and workstations.
Note: You won't be doing this alone! You will have a helper and a dedicated installation team on-site with you.
Use Basic Tools: Comfortably operate moving equipment and basic hand tools/drills for furniture assembly.
Help Customers: Provide friendly, professional service during client deliveries.
Stay Organized: Plan efficient routes, keep accurate logs, and do routine vehicle safety checks.
What We’re Looking For
A valid, non-CDL Driver’s License with a clean driving record (MVR).
A valid DOT Medical Card.
Physical capability to handle heavy lifting and furniture assembly daily.
Prior route driving or box truck experience is a big plus.
Punctual, dependable, and has reliable transportation to work.
Pay & Benefits
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 / hour (depending on your experience) + Overtime opportunities.
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time (40 hours/week).
Perks: Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Sick Time.
Schedule
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
Shifts are generally 8–10 hours, but occasional late finishes (past 6:00 PM) or weekend shifts happen based on schedule needs.
