SUMMARY
The Receiving Associate supports daily warehouse and receiving operations by ensuring inbound materials are handled accurately, safely, and efficiently. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory flow, supporting manufacturing needs, and keeping receiving areas organized while following established safety and operating procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Unload incoming shipments and verify materials against documentation.
• Record and log received items using tracking or verification tools.
• Collect samples of incoming raw materials while following safety protocols.
• Handle inventory items and route packages to the appropriate departments.
• Place received materials into assigned storage locations and assist with internal material movement.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow standard operating procedures at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math and data entry skills.
• Working knowledge of computer applications, including spreadsheets.
• Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Forklift operation experience and ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds required.
