LAWN TRACTOR

The John Deer X350 lawn tractor is in excellent condition with light use at 100.2 hours per the installed hour meter.

Replacement cost is ~$5,700 with tax, transportation, cover, maintenance kit and bagger. It looks and runs like new and has had absolutely no damage. Starts on the first crank. Only 100 hours of total use documented by the tractor meter.

I’m asking $4,300 for the tractor by itself, over $1,400 off the new price of a X350 with a bagger.

The best deal is if you also purchase the Cyclone Rake leaf vacuum already fitted to the tractor. The Cyclone Rake Power Vacuum Pickup makes quick work of just about anything that isn’t hard-frozen to the ground. With a quick sweep of the ergonomic Power Vacuum Pickup wand, deep piles of wet leaves, pine cones, pine needles, twigs and acorns will disappear. The tractor was purchased new in 2021 and used for ~100 hours in two mowing and leaf seasons. I now have a gardener, so it is currently unused and was stored since 2023. More details are below.

The tractor has Hydrostatic drive (no gears or clutch), is water cooled, mows in reverse, and has cruise control. Mowing height is easily adjusted on the go. Full details on a new X350 may be found at https://www.deere.com/en/mowers/lawn-tractors/x300-series/. The John Deere X350 is currently listed for $3,999.00USD, PLUS ADDITIONAL CHARGES (Transportation, tax). The 7-Bushel Rear Bagger for 42-in. Accel Deep™ Deck and easy-to-empty bags, Item # BUC11233 42A is $1,008.18, plus tax.

CYCLONE RAKE LEAF VACUUM FITTED TO DEER X350 PLUS EXTERNAL SUCTION TUBE.

This is an excellent tractor towed leaf vacuum. Some consider this the best leaf vacuum available. Just mow and pickup and mulch leaves and acorns as you go. (The added suction will allow you to vacuum up many acorns.) The estate vacuum attachment will allow you to suck leaves out of your planter bed.

It’s in great working condition with some signs of repaired wear and tear. The mice chewed a hole in one unimportant spot and the blower body has a repaired crack from a rock impact. If you are not careful, the suction is strong enough to pickup rocks. Everything is properly repaired and the unit is in excellent operating condition with many more years of use left in it.

I’ve successfully used this leaf vacuum system with another tractor for many years on my 1-acre lot with many large oak trees. Just mow, fill the vacuum bag and drive to the curb, raise the dump deck and drop the leaves on the curb for the town to pick up. If your town requires bags, simply put garbage cans with bags in the collection area and you’ve saved a lot of effort. The vacuum system works like a charm. It only took me about 2 hours to mow and remove all leaves each time I needed to do leaves after lots of leaves fell. With a gardener charging as much as $3,000 for one season of leaf removal, the pay back from DIY leaf vacuum is the first year of use.

Replacement cost for the Cyclone Rake is $1795. Included are the following accessories: $99 for the 3rd wheel jack Stand, $39 for the wall mount kit, $69 for the roof carrier, $39 for the mower deck to rake hose adapter, $69 for the steel liner, $349 for the estate vacuum attachment, and $25 for rubber boot adapter. The 5 HP Tecumseh leaf vacuum engine starts on the first or second pull.

Additional information, videos of the unit in action and confirmation of the above prices may be found at https://www.cyclonerake.com/cyclone-rake-classic-leaf-and-lawn-vacuum/.
The total replacement cost of the vacuum and the accessories listed above is $2,484. My asking price is $1,500 for the vacuum only.

STEEL HAULING CART

I also have a steel 10 CF hauling cart which uses the lawn tractor’s hitch. It’s great for logs, firewood, mulch, whatever you might want to haul. The rear panel removes for easy dumping. The replacement cost is around $300. I’ll sell the cart separately for $150.

PACKAGE DEAL

If you purchase the tractor, the vacuum and the hauling cart at the same time. I’ll reduce my price to $5,000. That’s a savings of over $1,000 off the individual prices and a saving of over $3,000 from the replacement cost.
The tractor, vacuum and cart are ready to go. The only reason I’m selling this equipment is because of my age. I’ve hired a landscaper, which is more expensive. You can start saving a lot of money by doing your own mowing and leaf removal with this power equipment making the job easy.
