The Series 7 chair achieved global recognition after its debut at the H55 exhibition in Sweden in 1955 and it is by far the most sold chair in the history of Fritz Hansen.
Very comfortable bentwood seat shell, the chair's unique ergonomic shape is achieved through a single piece of pressure-molded veneer for the seat and back, made from 9 layers for strength, flexibility, and durability.
It is characterized by its timeless and versatile design, feature a distinctive curved back and a waterfall seat edge designed for comfort, emphasizing practicality alongside its elegant form.
Will looks absolutely wonderful in any period or style environment and among mid-century classic design.

Shell is made of 9 layers of pressure-molded natural veneer, with 2 outer layers in natural ash.
The swivel base is made of 14 mm chromed steel tubes and 5-wheel castors with aluminum caps.

Authentic, all the chairs have the labels attached under the seat.
Dimensions: Height 30.75" to 35.5" x Width 24" x Depth 20.5" x Arm height 26" to 30.75" x Seat width 18" x Seat depth 17" x Weight 19.4 lbs.
Condition: All the chairs are in good used condition with Fritz Hansen original parts. The wood shell has a few minor scratches and small nicks/dings, mostly to the seat. The armrest has scratches and patina due to normal use. The chrome base is in good cosmetic and structural condition, has minor scratches and patina (see the photos please)
