Fabulous 1970s Italian distressed leather and chrome Accademia loveseat or two-seat sofa, designed by the Dutch designer Teun van Zanten, and beautifully handcrafted with the finest quality materials and craftsmanship by the Italian furniture manufacturer Molinari Design.
Features curved chrome-plated tubular steel arms and legs, giving the loveseat richness, visual interest, elegance, and invites to a pleasing moment of rest.
Feather goose down-filled cushions provide ultimate comfort all day long.
This elegant piece is the perfect balance of luxury and comfort, very similar to Jan des Bouvrie's design, will complement any modern, retro, or mid-century modern setting, appropriate for residential and commercial use.

Specification and adjustments:
Fully upholstered in full-grain high-quality Italian distressed leather.
The leather color was blue, but it has faded to a light teal color with age.
Elegant stitching details.
Insert: Feather goose down, washed and sterilized.
Tubular chrome-plated steel arms and legs.

Please note that Molinari no longer manufactures this model, and it is hard to find.

Condition: Age-appropriate wear and patina. The distressed leather color is faded and has a little bit of staining, wear, and scratches (no rips). It will need to be professionally cleaned, re-dyed, or reupholstered. The chrome arms and legs are in excellent cosmetic and structural condition (see the photos please)
