Here is an antique brass or bronze corner table. It has been in my family's personal possession for at least 70 years. Prior to that my father, who had an antiques business, had it in his store. I have no idea as to what the original purpose was, so I am categorizing it as an "accent" table.
As you can see there are two doors that open where there is a cubby to put things in (use it to store your favorite snacks, hide your extra cash, a bottle of your favorite vino, your car keys, dog biscuits, your dirty clothing, etc.).
The table is in excellent condition, but certainly has it's share of dirt on it here and there.
I believe the top part is made of SLATE (or some other natural stone), but I am no expert on this so I cannot say for sure.
Here are all of the measurements:
Overall height: 41 5/8"
Back end to end of front door knob/handle: 16 1/2"
Far left to far right: 22 1/2"
Top stone/slate thickness" Just under 1"
I did the best I could to weight it (several times) and was surprised it didn't weight more!
TOTAL weight: 52.9 pounds
Weight of top stone/slate alone: 15.3 pounds
Weight of main table without top, but with the bottom brass plate level: 37.6 pounds
