A beautifully crafted vanity Chest & Mirror made of Macassar Ebony c. 1930’s-40’s. Macassar Ebony wood is one of the densest and heaviest woods in the world. Most often used for fine furniture and fretboards for musical instruments. One of the rarest exotic woods on the planet, Endemic only to the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia. 6 drawers, several are shallow perfect for jewelry or smalls, two deep draws perhaps for products lotions or powders. Adjustable mirror with vertical tilt.
