Graduation gift for a NYU Grad student, this chair is very old. Great for a poker game. The seal is derived from the Statue of Liberty. The stamp under the seat reveals the manufacturer as;

S. BENT & BROTHERS
1867
GARDNER, MASS.

Known for their well-made, high quality furniture they produced. The company closed their doors in 2000. I’m guessing this chair is over 80 years old.
