• Made of heavy leather.
• It was mine during my time in service.
• Brought home March of 1973.
• It is used to sew heavy material such as leather, canvas and if needed sails which it was originally used for.
• The first picture will give you an example of sewing thick leather.
• It is to protect your palm and to help push the large needle through the material.
