Job Overview
We specialize in off premise corporate catering and are on the lookout for a dynamic Catering Manager specializing in Sales and Production to lead our catering operations with enthusiasm and expertise. Duties
Lead the sales efforts by building strong client relationships, creating proposals, and closing catering contracts to grow our business.
Oversee all aspects of food production for catering events, ensuring quality, presentation, and timely delivery.
Manage inventory control to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing waste and controlling costs.
Supervise kitchen staff and event teams, providing training, guidance, and support to uphold high standards of food safety and service.
Coordinate with clients to customize menus that meet their needs and dietary requirements while aligning with company standards.
Implement efficient shift management practices to ensure smooth operations during busy periods and special events.
Maintain accurate cash handling procedures and utilize POS systems like Toast POS and Caterease for order processing and billing.
Hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 to 4:30
Experience
Proven management experience within the food service industry, preferably in catering, fine dining, or casual dining environments.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management with a focus on quality control.
Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to supervise staff effectively, including interviewing, training, and developing team members.
Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, food safety standards, and food handling regulations.
Prior experience in sales or customer service within hospitality or restaurant settings is a plus.
