Salt and butter is looking for a top-tier Server with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in high-standard environments. We are looking for a professional who views serving as a craft, not just a job. The Ideal Candidate:
• Precision & Timing: You understand the "dance" of service. You deliver courses on time, in the right order, and with technical accuracy.
• Sales Expert: You don’t just take orders; you sell the menu. You know how to describe dishes to make mouths water and naturally upsell appetizers, drinks and desserts.
• Technical Proficiency: Must be proficient with Toast POS. We need someone who can hit the ground running without technical training.
• Service Recovery: You are humble and professional. When a mistake happens (and they do), you know how to apologize sincerely, fix the mess immediately, and win the guest back.
• The "Ear": You listen to guest cues and dietary needs with 100% focus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain a deep knowledge of our menu, ingredients, and pairings.
• Execute service with a "guest-first" mentality.
• Ensure all orders are entered into Toast accurately to prevent kitchen errors.
• Maintain a clean and organized section under pressure.
Requirements:
• 3+ years of high-volume or fine-dining experience.
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
• Ability to stay calm and professional during the "rush."
• Full-time/Part-time availability including weekends and evenings.
