We are looking for a hardworking, reliable Porter / Dishwasher to join our fast-paced culinary team. In a busy full-service restaurant, this role is the backbone of the operation; without clean plates and a sanitized environment, the kitchen stops.

Key Responsibilities:
Dish Pit Mastery: Operate the industrial dishwasher with speed and precision. Ensure all plates, glassware, silverware, and cooking utensils are cleaned, sanitized, and restocked quickly.
Station Support: Manually scrub large pots, pans, and heavy kitchen equipment that cannot go through the machine.Organization: Maintain a clean and organized dish landing area to prevent breakage and keep the workflow moving during "the rush."Sanitation & Safety: Follow all health department protocols. Frequently sweep and mop kitchen floors, remove trash and recycling, and ensure the back-of-house area is tidy.
Light Prep Work: Occasionally assist the Chef or Sous Chef with basic prep tasks (e.g., peeling vegetables or breaking down boxes) during slower periods.
Chemical Safety: Safely handle and replenish cleaning chemicals and detergents according to OSHA standards.
Qualifications & Requirements: Physical Stamina Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs (crates of dishes, trash bags, etc.).
PaceAbility to thrive in a high-volume, high-stress environment without losing focus.
Reliability: Consistent attendance is non-negotiable. The team relies on you to start the service right.
Teamwork: A "no task is too small" attitude and the ability to communicate with both cooks and servers.
Flexibility: Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
