Park West Tavern, one of Ridgewood's most successful and popular restaurants, is seeking an
Experienced Sous Chef to join our team.
We are a high-volume, family-owned restaurant with a strong reputation for exceptional food, hospitality, and consistency. Our award-winning kitchen is centered on trust, high-performance, and fun. We are looking for someone who shares those values and is ready to step into a leadership role.
Qualifications
• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong lead line cook ready to advance
• Experience working in a busy, high-volume restaurant
• Strong leadership, clear communication skills
• Hands-on line cooking experience
• Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and team-first mentality
• Passion for great food and hospitality
Responsibilities
• Lead and support the kitchen during service
• Expedite service and maintain quality standards
• Assist with inventory and light ordering
• Help train and motivate the kitchen team
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
• Collaborate on seasonal menu development and daily specials
• Ability to cover all line stations as needed
