Job Overview:
The Fine Dining Busser plays a crucial role in ensuring the dining experience is exceptional by assisting servers, resetting tables promptly, and maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the dining room. This position requires attention to detail, a polished appearance, and a professional demeanor. The busser must be able to follow directions provided by management to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Responsibilities:
• Follow all directions provided by management and supervisors to meet service standards.
• Prepare and reset tables between seatings, ensuring table settings are immaculate.
• Assist servers in delivering bread, water, and other items to guests as needed.
• Remove used dishes, silverware, and glassware promptly and professionally.
• Replenish water glasses and monitor guest needs, communicating with servers when necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including floors, service stations, and restrooms.
• Stock and replenish service items such as silverware, napkins, and glassware.
• Support bar staff and food runners when required.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and restaurant procedures.
• Deliver excellent customer service with a friendly, professional attitude.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in a high-end or fine dining environment preferred.
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to operational needs.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork mentality.
• Professional appearance and adherence to restaurant dress code.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
