We Are Hiring for Event Setup Crew Roles
Multiple positions available for motivated individuals in Porter, Setup, and Houseman capacities. These hands-on roles focus on event preparation, maintenance, and breakdown in a dynamic hospitality environment. Ideal for those who enjoy physical work and contributing to seamless events.
What You’ll Do
• Setup Duties: Arrange event spaces including tables, chairs, linens, decor, staging, lighting, and audio-visual equipment; assist with loading/unloading deliveries and organizing inventory
• Houseman Duties: Maintain venue cleanliness and upkeep, including polishing floors, restocking restrooms, and minor repairs; support overall facility readiness and post-event resets
• Coordinate with event managers to execute custom layouts for weddings, galas, and corporate functions
• Work collaboratively with front-of-house, kitchen, and operations teams for efficient event flow
What We’re Looking For
• 1+ years of experience in event setup, porter/houseman roles, warehouse, construction, or similar physical labor (hospitality experience a plus)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in varying weather (indoor/outdoor elements)
• Reliable transportation and flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a team-oriented mindset
• Professional attitude with a focus on safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction
