Manages daily kitchen operations, supervises line cooks, and ensures food is prepared to the highest quality and safety standards.
Food Preparation & Execution: Cook, plate, and garnish menu items to exact recipe specifications. Maintain strict portion control and ensure consistency across every plate.
Staff Supervision: Lead and mentor kitchen staff during service. Assign duties, monitor processes, and ensure team members are following all station protocols.
Inventory & Stock Management: Oversee par levels, restock stations, check in deliveries, monitor weekly food cost.
Quality & Safety Assurance: Ensure the kitchen complies with health, safety, and sanitation codes. Monitor food storage temperatures and kitchen cleanliness.
Leadership & Communication: Ability to manage a team, delegate tasks smoothly, and troubleshoot kitchen pressure.
